EMS-Quantum

EMS-Quantum is an innovative application designed to enhance the management and control of videowall processors. Specifically crafted for use with Quantum Ultra videowall processors, the app transforms Android devices into sophisticated control systems. It offers a distinctly intuitive user interface, leveraging gestures familiar to any smartphone user—like tapping, swiping, and pinch-to-zoom—to oversee a variety of tasks involving preset selection, window sizing, positioning, and source assignment.

One of the top advantages the system affords is the capability to control videowall systems wirelessly, making it a versatile tool for a wide array of environments such as corporate boardrooms, command and control centers, and network operation rooms. Exceptionally friendly to multi-user scenarios, EMS-Quantum supports simultaneous control from up to 10 devices.

The system presents a layered authorization approach, separating users into three categories: User, Designer, and Administrator, each with tailored access levels to match their roles. This ensures operational integrity and workflow efficiency. Seamless interaction with the videowalls is facilitated through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface and preset previews, which allow for efficient management of content display.

Some significant features include the snap grid for effortless window placement, pixel-precise editing, and the creation and recall of up to 128 window presets. Furthermore, it contains a multi-level Undo function, as well as locking capabilities that prevent unintended window adjustments. A suite of window management tools—including cut, copy, and paste functions—and layer controls add to the robust set of functionalities. Users are also kept informed with alerts related to system health such as temperature, power supply, and fan statuses.

For full functionality, users will require a LinkLicense® upgrade for the Quantum Ultra. This license enables the essential communication link between the platform and the videowall processor, ensuring a seamless, integrated control experience. Whether the task is to quickly remove all windows from view or to hide specific windows with the mute function, EMS-Quantum is positioned as an invaluable asset for efficient and adaptable videowall management.
